The ultimate in Food Boards, charcuterie (shahr-cute-uh-ree) is a French word for any smoked, dry-cured or cooked meat. This category includes favorites like bacon, ham, pâté and sausages. I combine an assortment of cheeses (creamy soft rind, tangy blue, medium hard cheese and goat) with salami, paté, cured bacon and ham. Any spaces are filled in with olives, mustard, nuts, dried and fresh fruit, making this board a meal in itself.
